Piero Martinello is a portrait photographer trained at FABRICA, the Communication Research Centre of Benetton Group, where he has worked extensively for Colors Magazine and on several long-term projects.

He photographed two campaigns for United Colors of Benetton: “Victims” and “It’s my time”. He also worked on several social awareness projects, like two World Health Organization campaigns entitled “Stop Tubercolosis” and “Child Injury Prevention”.

He is currently working and living between Milan, Venice and Spain, focusing on editorial and commercial assignments and social projects commissioned by NGO.

His works have been exhibited at Les Rencontres d’Arles , the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Le Dictateur (Milan), Basilica Palladiana (Vicenza), Carrè Rotondes (Luxembourg), Foto-Forum (Bozen).

Clients include The Financial Times, Forbes Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Le Monde, GQ, L’Officiel Hommes, D di Repubblica, Internazionale, Walrus, Icon, Esquire, Neon, IL Intelligence in Lifestyle, Wired, Die Weltwoche, Marie Claire, Amica.
